zyrprcacpg Sat, 17 November 2007, 03:01:47 pm | Seconds later, two men pumped up to 10 shots into an Audi and a Mazda as they sped away along the popular restaurant strip. "As soon as they drove off we just stopped and bam, bam, bam," the restaurant's pastry chef Patricia Chizzoniti said. The brawl was so loud it attracted residents from across the street, alerted by the fracas. "I saw a bunch of guys get into cars. Three other blokes follow them out, came out with handguns and started shooting at the cars," said nearby resident Ben, who only gave his first name. "They followed them up the street a bit and fired another couple of shots... right into the side of the cars." Ever been a victim of crime in Sydney? Share your story via feedback section below. omajhdzwco Sat, 17 November 2007, 03:46:35 pm | Citroen's Sebastien Loeb will have only one target this coming weekend in Ireland and that's to come out top and take the maximum ten points. The Frenchman failed to score on the Rally Japan last month after his co driver, Daniel Elena called out the wrong pace note. It was a bitter blow for Seb, especially as Marcus Gronholm had gone out on day 1 and as such he was well placed to re take the lead in the drivers' championship. As it is Loeb heads to Ireland now still four points behind and with only two events left, still has it all to do. He will take encouragement though from the Citroen C4 WRC's form this year on the 'black stuff' and his pre event preparations for this event, which included taking in and winning the Donegal Rally in Ireland back in the summer and the Cork '20' International Rally in September. "We have no alternative [but to try and take the victory this weekend]. I start every event with the intention of winning and... http://super-blog-here.com/ |

kddtftioxu Wed, 21 November 2007, 05:08:02 am | Subaru number two driver, Chris Atkinson has admitted that he is not 100 per cent certain what happened on SS6, when he crashed out of the Rally Japan. Atkinson, who had been running eighth overall, went off the road at the second split in the 13.95 kilometre run through Cup Kamuy 2, when his car slid wide on a medium speed section and collided with a tree. Both he and co driver Stephane Prevot were unhurt in the incident, but the damage to the car was extensive and consequently they will not be able to restart on Saturday under the SupeRally format. Speaking back in service, Chris confirmed he didn't really know what had gone... http://news-blog-for-u.com/ |

xrnnmfldne Wed, 21 November 2007, 05:15:40 am | Shares of Freddie Mac plummeted 28.7% Tuesday after the federally backed mortgage company announced steep losses and a dramatic drop in the value of its holdings. Freddie Mac posted a third quarter loss of $2.0 billion, or $3.29 per share, up from a loss of $715 million, or $1.17 per share, a year ago. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial had expected a loss of only 22 cents per share. igugurjfmg Thu, 22 November 2007, 05:11:26 am | Writing his publisher's letter in the December edition of the Australian Tennis Magazine, Rafter blasts Philippoussis's diffidence to Davis Cup. Addressing the question of whether his former doubles partner should be given a wildcard into the Australian Open, Rafter conceded Philippoussis was a drawcard. "However, he has also been reluctant to play for his country many times in Davis Cup," Rafter wrote. "(He) has burnt many bridges along the way and has made some very poor decisions in his career. "In saying all that, it's not as if we (Australia) have 10 players waiting and deserving wildcards. My feeling is that he should play the event, get some much needed matches and providing he pulls up well, he should be given the wildcard regardless. "The winner of the event, providing it is not Mark, will get it as well." The antipathy between Philippoussis and Rafter... http://i-love-news.com/ |

ublztdnsmw Sun, 25 November 2007, 01:04:13 am | Aside from the fact the tiny bottle doesn't allow for such precise measurements, at least double the recommended dosage is required to pull off an adequate shave. Once untraditionally "lathered up," the aroma of sandalwood leads you to believe this is going to be a cathartic experience. The truth is, it hurts if you have not applied enough. The lubrication does make for a close cut, but repeated passes with the blade are required on tougher hair. Don't attempt to use this while rushing to that early morning business meeting. The scent somewhere between an old pine steamer trunk and a can of Off! says good for the cottage. The Bottom Line Hard as it is to believe, the results are good. The all natural ingredients are more contemporary than the standby menthol in a can many of us grew up with nice. However, relying on a dispenser that looks better suited to plopping... http://bestnews-4u.com/ |

pbhkygmsjm Sun, 25 November 2007, 04:57:04 pm | His departure is seen as a sign of instability in Russian economic policy making and has led to an open breach between the finance ministry and security agencies. “The government needs to make some major decisions about how to manage its oil wealth,” Rory MacFarquhar, a director in Goldman Sach’s Moscow office, said in a telephone interview Friday. “This case could cause the finance officials to take a much more risk averse approach to investment.” Over years of high oil prices, Russia has salted away billions in oil money in its Stabilization Fund. In January, Moscow will split it into two funds: the Reserve Fund and the Fund of National Prosperity, the latter intended for state investments. How this money will be invested, and who will make those decisions, is in contention. Russian media have interpreted Mr. Storchak’s arrest as an effort by security services to... http://coolnews-4u.com/ |

kckjghlkbg Mon, 26 November 2007, 01:05:17 pm | The store is a franchise. Since I started a year ago, the rest of the staff has turned over completely, including management, and my present co workers were hired three to four months ago. Since then, the owner has been frustrated with errors made at the till, which have lost her money. Now, the owner has instituted a policy to charge cashiers for the shortfalls. She provides a small monthly fund that covers any errors in the cash balance, since they can't be attributed to a particular person. We are supposed to split the cost of any cash errors above that amount. We are expected to pay the money in cash to her since legally she can't take it out of our paycheques. Do you have any comments on the ethics of this policy? A It's easy to understand the owner's position. Cashiers are evidently either being sloppy or stealing and that has to stop. gqxiknhdak Mon, 26 November 2007, 11:50:08 pm | Tomas Berdych said he knew of a match fixing try in Russia. The players have volunteered their stories in the wake of an investigation of Nikolay Davydenko of Russia, the world’s No. 4 player, because of betting patterns during a loss in Poland in the summer. Mr. Davydenko, who has refused to turn over phone records, has since denied any wrongdoing. The allegations, from journeymen and highly ranked players, have built quietly as individuals on the men’s tour talked to newspapers and broadcast stations on different continents, but together they have massed into the worst crisis to ever hit the sport. No players spoke to the Association of Tennis Professionals or the International Tennis Federation before going public. bscbannmbf Tue, 27 November 2007, 12:04:52 am | On our doormat at home yesterday landed one of the 7.5 million letters from HMRC sent to explain how they lost my wife's personal details along with the records of 25 million other Britons. The letter is just a small symbol of the dysfunction dogging this government. Only a citizen with no access to a television, radio or newspapers could have missed the Government's lame explanation for how it all happened. There was no point writing to those affected. Sending the letters second class at 24p meant a postage bill of £1.8 million for telling us what we already know. On top of the cost to the public and banks already incurred in this farce it is loose change; to a taxpayer this is a reminder of how casually our Government throws around money it presumes mistakenly to be its own. Ultimately, Alistair Darling's embarrassment is an illustration of the looming limits on government in what David Cameron is calling the post bureaucratic age. When the records of almost... http://bestnews-4u.com/ |
